Returns & Refunds
All sales are final, however a 1 year warranty period exists (see below), as well as access to Storm Applied Technologies' support department, and troubleshooting manuals (see this site).
Storm warrants PINFERNO for parts and labour for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, lease, or rental, except for products which are used in a professional or commercial application, which are warranted for a period of ninety (90) days for parts and labour and are subject to the terms and conditions of the warranty. Warranty services are intended as a guide only and variations may occur. The warranty period is transferrable across owners and continues for the following specified period of time after that date.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Please note that this does not include consumables items such as batteries, bulbs, and fans. The liability of Storm Applied Technologies (or its appointed maintenance agent) is limited to the cost of repair and/or replacement of the product under warranty. The warranty is invalidated if the defect is caused (howsoever) by misuse, neglect, lightning, disaster, accident, abuse, power surges, failure to follow the instructions, and tampering or incorrect adjustment. It is invalidated if unauthorized persons carry out any alterations and/or repairs. Also, the warranty is invalidated in the following cases:
- For repair due to incorrect installation in your home or business
- For repair to any product where the serial number has been removed
- Where any ancillary equipment not furnished or recommended by Storm Applied Technologies causes problems or damage that is attached to or used in connection with the product.
- Damage or deterioration occurring to any exterior finishes, cosmetic parts, adaptors, cables, discs, or faults or damage caused by defective leaking batteries.
- Defects or damage occurring during shipping (claims should be presented to the shipping company)
- Product voltage and/or line frequency conversions
- Product installation or removal charges
Storm Applied Technologies warrants that each new PINFERNO machine, under normal use, is free from any defects, subject to the terms and conditions set forth before. If a defect should occur within the warranty period, repairs will be made free of charge for parts and labour when such defects are determined by Storm or its' authorized service centres to be attributable to faulty materials or workmanship at time of manufacture. Please contact Strom to confirm if a dealer or service centre is authorized by Storm.
